Show veterans Sharon and Sheryl threatened to quit unless Marie was canned. They pushed her to quit but when she didn’t, they made an ultimatum to the network.” Meanwhile, fellow co-host Carrie Ann Inaba “pleaded with execs for Marie to stay but she wasn’t successful changing their minds.
The report infuriated Marie’s fans who felt she was a wonderful addition to the cast. They began sounding off on The Talk‘s Instagram page with many people saying they wouldn’t continue to watch the show.
One person stated this, ‘Won’t be watching bye! You jumped the shark! Too political and I really hope Marie quit but I think Sharon got her fired! CBS get a clue!”
